Our Pastoral Intern - Brandon Terry
My name is Brandon Terry. I was born and raised in Gainesville, GA and in the Church but was not a believer. I was conscious of my sin but didn't know what to with it except "do better."
Still lost, I attended Kansas State University to pursue a college football career. After failing to make the team and more uncertain of God because he didn't give me what I prayed for in football, I transferred to Georgia Southern University. During my time there I became a believer in Christ Jesus. I graduated with a B.S in Information Technology in 2011, at which time I felt a call to pursue pastoral ministry.
After interning with the youth that summer, the Lord provided me with a Network Administration job at a community clinic, as well as a pastoral internship at First Presbyterian Church of Augusta beginning in 2012. I interned up until my wife Sarah and I got married in the summer of 2016 and then we moved to Columbia for me to finish out seminary at Erskine Theological Seminary.
The Lord has since shown his mercy by providing for us in so many ways, including this pastoral internship at Arsenal Hill, in which I get to further discern my call to ministry as well as join in the ministry of reconciliation. It is our desire to serve wherever the need is, wherever the Lord places us, and right now that is in Columbia, SC, at Arsenal Hill Pres.
