OUR MINISTRIES ...

What Do We Have to Offer?

Besides a strong biblical teaching and a warm family atmosphere, Arsenal Hill has many opportunities for active involvements in the life of our church.

U         Sunday School:  We have classes for children through adults. There is a class for couples and singles (John Wilson Sunday School Class), and there are classes for children. A nursery is available for the babies.

U         Worship Service:  We have for the most part a traditional worship service with strong emphasis on singing, congregational participation, and preaching the Word.

U         Fellowship Supper, Prayer Meeting, and Bible Study:  On Wednesday evenings everyone is welcome to participate in a covered dish supper, followed by a time of singing, prayer, and Bible study.

U         Women's Ministries:  Made up of the Women’s Ministries Board (WMB) and the Circles, this group plans and implements the women’s work for the year, including some special events. The circles are made up of all the women in the church and meet monthly to provide a time of Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.

U         Adult Choir:  The adult choir lends its efforts to assist in the Sunday morning worship services. They offer special music and support the congregational singing. This choir meets for preparation and practice on Wednesday evenings following the Bible study.

U         Children’s Choir:  The children’s choir (when activated) meets weekly on Wednesday evenings during the Bible study for fellowship, study, and to practice for special events.

U         HILLTOPPERS:  A group of Arsenal Hill members and guests meet each month for fellowship and to participate together in activities, such as traveling to a nearby town for an meal at a special restaurant. The Hilltoppers ministry is sponsored by the Women's Ministries of Arsenal Hill. Participation is encouraged by both men and women.

U         Marketplace Bible Study:  The Marketplace Bible Study, though not a direct activity of Arsenal Hill Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, is a special group that meets at the church in the Spring and Fall. This group is specifically designed for working women and meets in the Fellowship Hall. The class is currently led by a retired missionary and is open to anyone in the community who would like to participate. Special studies are designed, as well as a time of praise and worship. For specific information about meeting times, please contact the church office.
